Hey All,
Doug and Scott made another video. Doug decided it would be funny to bother Scott while he was on the phone with his kids. Poor, Scott…it’s tough to get some privacy on the road.
Fans in Detroit, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Denver!!
It is my pleasure to announce that I will be joining the band for these locations in the coming week and half(ish). I will be selling the Scott Weiland Band merchandise inside the venue. We #1!!!
It seems as though $2 MP3 “Happy” day has paid off! Scott R. Weiland’s “Happy in Galoshes” hit #1 on Amazon’s top selling albums of the day. The Killers…pshhh….Beyonce…pshh…The Jonas Brothers…no comment….Scott Weiland…El Rey.
And… because Scott ripped up the Amazon charts like a pro on a North Shore wave, Amazon.com has extended $2 “Happy” day for an additional day! So, if you didn’t happen to pick up your $2 MP3 version of “Happy in Galoshes,” you still have today (1/23) to do so. Make this your jam of the weekend!
Check it out @ $2 Amazon MP3
Also, stay tuned for more video blogs from Doug, Scott, and the rest of the band! Coming Soon!!!
So Doug, Scott, and the rest of the crew are having a blast on their US tour. Everything has been going super well and the feedback from the shows has been incredible.
Below is the 1st webisode of the Scott Weiland Band video blog! The band will be checking in on occasion and may even field some of your questions about being touring rock stars and life on the road in general. Stay Tuned!!!!

Scott Weiland and his band are kicking off their first major tour of 2009!!! Everyone had a chill and rejuvenating break and are ready to hit the road. On Wednesday (1/14), Scott and his band will begin their US tour in Kansas City, MO and conclude their tour on February 7th right here in Los Angeles. I have a feeling this is going to be a great tour! The band sounded amazing in rehearsals, some new covers have been added to the bill, and everyone is super pumped to hit the road again. Below are a few pictures I sneaked from the band (including the one of Doug at the top) during last week’s rehearsal.

BIG SHOUT OUT TO Claptasticfun!

HAPPY 2009, my devoted Weiland-going orbs of awesomeness!

As the title indicates, I spent my NYE at the STP show in downtown LA @ Club Nokia. Above is my personalized STP VIP area photo-booth shot. It was free and the elevator operator said that, “I had to do it.” Don’t hate, I was intrigued.

The Color Turning opened the show around 8:55pm and rocked as usual. STP went on around 10:40ish and f’ing rocked the 2009 princess hats off everyone!!! This was one of the best STP shows I had ever seen. Even Dion (a die hard STP fan who travels around the US to see STP) said that this was one of the best shows of the year. Scott sounded well rested, full toned, and just badass!!! Everyone in the crowd was rocking out hard. Some a little too hard. But, what’s a rock concert without a brawl here and there?

At 12am 2009, balloons dropped from the ceiling and STP blasted in the new year with, “Sex Type Thing.” So dope. Then STP played another song or so and then encored with “Dead & Bloated,” and “Trippin’ on a Hole.”
All and all, it was a fantastic show. I got a chance to speak to some awesome fans and rocked out in the pit the entire night. Another thing: I love watching Robert play. He gets so into his bass playing and has one of the best stage presence I have ever seen in a bass player. Also, he threw out like 10+ picks throughout the course of the night. So rad (as Arik our sound engineer would say).
To close I give you a few pictures I took from the show and to wish you a healthy, prosperous, and “Happy” 2009!!!! Make it a passionate year.

Hey Fans,
So, my dedicated Weiland-goer, Erin, had a great idea; add Scott Weiland relevant links to The Weiland Den!
Scott and everybody loved the idea so much that I decided to implement the request. From now on, you will have Scott Weiland links at your beck and call, on the right side of the page. If I missed any awesome SW links, please comment below this post and let me know what I should add. You’re welcome and enjoy!
In addition, ever since Erin told me that great idea, I also had an idea. Let you guys pitch new ideas on how we can better this blog or what you would like to read about?
So, go for it, pitch your craziest, wildest, and Weilandish ideas your brain can conjure.

Fans,
It’s officially that time of year, where we SoCal residents begin to wear sweaters. With temperatures teetering between the high 40’s to high 60’s, we know the holiday season has begun. Break out the Starbucks pumpkin scones and gingersnap lattes!
However, the holiday season isn’t just about cold weather, December football, great album releases, and spiked egg nog. It’s about community and tapping into that seasonal love and happiness.
So, I have created a video to illustrate the best way that we can tap into that happiness and feel the love through the bonding powers of music. Of course, with a Weiland twist…(That actually sounds like a Starbucks drink!…I know I’m strange).
In conclusion, I hope you all experience great office parties and find some sort of happiness during this holiday season.
‘Happy’ Holidays!
